Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the prescribed method to which adults (those over the age of reason) enter into the Catholic Church. “RCIA is fundamentally Trinitarian and centers on initiation into the life of the Triune God. It also presents Christian life as a lifelong journey to the Father in the Son and through the Holy Spirit.” (NDC 114).
